What this site is

Ink & Indent is an independent publication about planner, pen, desk and notebook gifts. It is a source of opinion and compiled published information. It is not a shop, and nothing here is a contract to sell you anything.

What we do not do

• We do not sell products. Every buy link sends you to a third-party retailer. Your purchase is with them, under their terms, their pricing, their returns policy and their warranty.
• We do not hold stock, take payment or handle orders. Order queries, shipping problems and returns go to the retailer.
• We have not tested these products. Recommendations are based on published specifications and reasoning from them, and that is stated on how we pick and on every recommendation page.

Accuracy

We cite the source of every specification and we work to keep them right, but manufacturers change products and retailers change listings without notice. Check the retailer’s current page before buying, especially for anything where a dimension or a paper weight is the reason you are buying.

If you find something wrong here, please tell us — corrections get read first, and the editorial policy sets out what happens next.

Prices

Prices shown are pulled from the retailer and stamped with the date they were checked. They change constantly. Where our data is older than 48 hours we show no number at all rather than a stale one. The retailer’s page is always the authority on what something costs.

Affiliate relationships

We earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through links here, at no extra cost to you. This is disclosed on every page that carries a buy link and in full on the affiliate disclosure.

Third-party links

Links to retailers, manufacturers and other sites are provided because they are useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their practices or their privacy policies.

Intellectual property

The text, structure and original photography on this site belong to Slate Mill Group. You are welcome to quote a passage with attribution and a link. Republishing whole pages is not permitted. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification only.

No professional advice

Nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice. Where a page touches on comfort at a desk, it describes what a product changes mechanically and explicitly declines to make a health claim — see wrist and forearm comfort. If you have pain, speak to a clinician rather than buying something.

Limitation of liability

This site is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Slate Mill Group is not liable for any loss arising from your use of it or from a purchase made through a link on it. Your remedy for a purchase is with the retailer who sold it to you.

Changes

These terms may change; the date at the top of the page will change with them. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.
